Chaparral High School Reviews

I am student at Chaparral High school and i love this school! The new principal is doing a great job in making this school a better place. I think the RSVP is a great idea and hopefully it will help the school. I am in Orchestra and all i can say is that Mrs. Garmen is the best teacher in Chap! She motivates us in so many ways, i didnt really like playing until i had her as my conductor. Thanks Mrs. G!

I'm a student at Chaparral High School and I think it's the best ! We have all types of clubs and extra-curricular activities. We have an amazing art program. Our new principle is making the school a lot better. I'm in Student Council and Soccer. Everything about Chaparral is amazing ! Great teachers, Great students, Great principle, great school !

I have 4 children who either have or are currently attending Chaparral High School. I rate Chaparral 5 stars in every area.

I am a teacher at Chap and both of my children go to school here. I really couldn't be happier with the quality of education they are receiving. As a teacher I wish that parental involvement was a little better but it is hard to find a perfect school. We have a new young principal in his first year here that really understands what direction that the school needs to headed. Given a couple of more years, I honestly feel that this will be the high school that many outside our school boundaries will want to send their children.

Chaparral obviously is doing something right! They have such a diverse population of students and are very unified despite. Kids love it there, the kids are happy and having a great time... friendly with their teachers (most of whom have been there for years) The Student Council State President this year is at Chap... the Governor of the Boys' State program also came out of there. Football team could use some improvement... that would raise the spirit. But overall things are positive!

I'm a student and although the school isn't that great the teachers are pretty good in the honors program. If you get involved in extracurricular activities it's a lot better.

chap is a pretty good school its not that school sprited though most of the students don't like it there and i don't think thats right. mybe the adminstration should someting about that. have more fun school activities and get everbody involved. that way kids will be proud to say they go to chap. besides that its a good scool the teachers are a little uninvolved in some things with students i can understand cause students are upsetting now of days so i guess its not all there faults. i go to chap and i loves it! i plays sports and have fun with my friends plus i makes good grades. i know i'm not perfect but i try and i hope i don't give you guys alot of trouble.

Chaparral has to be by far the most school-spirited school I've ever been to. Most of the kids there love that school. It's not the dangerous & ghetto school everyone thinks it is. The teachers aren't the best but, they love what they do. Most of them have been there forever. For the most part, it's a good school, but there's always room for improvement. Chaparral is a very positive school.

I always enjoyed the classes at Chaparral. The teachers were understanding, and always helped when things were difficult to comprehend. Although there were fights, you generally felt safe going to and from your classes.
